I have a Tivoli model one (walnut) and a Vers (cherry) as well - the single speaker and no iPod dock (in their wood product line) is a big disadvantage for Tivoli. Fyi - Tivoli's wood is a veneer too, just like Vers. I listen to my iPod more then the radio, so my Vers gets much more use these days - I love it.
