Part of the winner’s curse when you buy art is that you often end up having to shell out even more cash to properly store or present it.  So after getting another beautiful Keith Carter print at The Center for Photography at Woodstock‘s Benefit Auction last week, I went to the Corners Framing store on Memorial Drive this morning.  But the Sheriff had gotten there first.

I wonder what happened. Simple business failure or something more sinister?  Did the whole chain go down or just this store?  The website for Corners doesn’t look too healthy right now, in fact it appears to be in some kind of DNS limbo.  Please write or comment if you have any information.  Will a citizen journalist dig up the scoop?  What about the inventory?

The important question is, will the Sheriff sell me a 20×24″ anodized aluminum frame with gallery glass or plexi?
